I’m Zack, a freelance designer and art director based near London. I’ve worked in branding for more than 20 years and have been self-employed since 2013.

I design identities, write brand guidelines and develop presentations and templates that people can use day to day. My work often includes rebranding and guidelines.

A lot of what I do is about making a brand work in practice. That might mean finding a clearer way to deliver on-brand marketing materials, organise a presentation, defining how a graphic should be constructed, or making guidelines useful to someone who isn’t a designer.

More recently, I’ve been configuring Claude Design for corporate clients, including Trafigura. For Trafigura, I built a bespoke presentation system around its guidelines, developed rule-based versions of its proprietary graphics and created reusable Skills to help company users produce PowerPoint templates.

I work with businesses and agencies, from the first ideas through to detailed design and production. I’m happy starting with a blank sheet or getting stuck into an existing project.
